PLATFORM – ITALY 2020

In issue 27 of Platform – ITALY 2020 – Fabbricanove presents two works, recently completed, the result of the constant research that the studio dedicates to the recovery of the building heritage, both within consolidated historical contexts as well as in local and peripheral areas. Milano Luiss Hub is an urban container with a public vocation, given back to the city through a virtuous process, built together with the Municipality of Milan and the client. The house on the Gulf of Baratti is the result of the complete renovation of a small building, located in an area on which there are numerous restrictions. This work establishes an interactive dialectic with the marine landscape and with the Archaeological Park. Together with its young staff of architects, Fabbricanove is  focusing its research also on marginal and small-scale contexts, involving local communities and raising awareness of investing in  the recovery of the existing heritage.

We thank Luca Molinari, together with the entire editorial staff of Platform, for having involved us in this initiative and Filippo Romano for his photographic contribution towards our works.
